A round trip of about 2 hours starts from the village and takes you through these chestnut woods of considerable environmental and scenic importance. The area is home to several monumental chestnut trees (centuries-old trees with a circumference of more than 7 m at 1.3 m from the ground), stone buildings and terraced terrain.
