First documented in 1219, the existing church is in the Baroque style (1668). Inside, the original 17th-century wooden ceiling of the nave, high altar with polychrome stucco decorations and superb paintings by Bartolomeo Rusca in the choir vault depicting the four Evangelists are worthy of note.
