The little church offers panoramic views from its commanding position overlooking Sorico and the entire lake. Inside it houses the remains of the venerable hermit, who died at the end of the 14th century, valuable 16th-century frescoes by De Magistris and a canvas by ‘Il Fiammenghino’ (the Flemish artist).
