Located in Montenuovo, with a short deviation from stage 02 of the Via Francisca, we recommend you follow the Via Crucis to reach the Church of St Andrew in a short time (but uphill). The building, located on a hillock with a splendid view over the valley, contains frescoes painted by Gian Giacomo Macolino in 1632 in the presbytery. The church has recently been restored by a group of volunteers, who in 2002 contributed to the reconstruction of the roof in order to safeguard the paintings.
