A rare example of industrial architecture. Situated in the old artisan district of Chiavenna, the Bottonera Mill is a fine and rare example of industrial architecture.
Now a museum, the building lives on with inside the atmosphere of the unremitting work of the miller and his team in the 1800´s. Spread over four floors visitors can appreciate some masterful carpentry work as the vast majority of the old mill was constructed with wood.
