From the church of San Martino we go down towards the lake and then go up along a metal staircase and pass the freeway at a tunnel. We walk for about 1 km and keep left at a crossroads with a path that descends towards the SS36. We follow the path that runs for about 2 km on the slopes of Mount Coltignone up to the steep descent in the woods that leads to the land of a restaurant that we skirt keeping to the right. We go up along a staircase to the left, at the end of which we turn right. We cover the embankment protected by rockfall nets for about 1 km and keep right at a crossroads to take a ladder that leads to the paved road near a hairpin bend. We go down towards the lake and follow the coplanar road to a petrol station where we cross the road to take the lakeside cycle path. After about 1.3 km we arrive in Piazza XX Settembre and the Palazzo delle Paure in Lecco.
