The towpath has been restored in the section affected by the landslide between Cornate d’Adda and Paderno d’Adda, thanks to the construction of a temporary bypass.
The section below Trezzo sull’Adda Castle remains closed. The closure can be easily circumvented by passing briefly through the historic center of Trezzo.
The towpath is therefore entirely passable from Lecco to Trezzo sull’Adda. You then exit for a short stretch into the historic center of Trezzo and then rejoin the towpath, which from there on is completely passable.
