The farmhouse is located 800 meters in the mountains of Dosso del Liro (20 minutes by car from Gravedona), immersed in a wood of centuries-old chestnut trees, on the passage of the “Via dei monti lariani”, making it ideal as a starting / ending point for mountain excursions. Open since 2004, the facility has maintained the characteristic architectural typology of the place, entirely in stone and wood. It has 10 rooms with private bathroom, divided into 2 blocks: 4 in the main building and 6 in a secondary building about 50 meters away, where there is also a small wellness area with sauna and hot tub. The outdoor area is large with a terrace and garden for common use: an oasis of peace where you can enjoy a unique silence. Agricultural activity is concentrated on beekeeping with direct sale of honey, the production of various vegetables and the cultivation of raspberries and blueberries used in the kitchen for catering and the production of jams. There is also a small animal farm with donkeys, cows, pigs (from which the cured meats are produced), sheep and chickens (from which fresh eggs are obtained every day). The farmhouse has a restaurant, which offers simple cuisine through the use of typical local products, partly of its own production and partly purchased from local farms: local cured meats, lake fish, chestnuts and mushrooms, game and semuda (typical cheese from Dosso) are never lacking in the menu which varies from day to day. It features a large indoor dining room and an outdoor terrace for outdoor lunches / dinners during the summer. The restaurant is open every day for both lunch and dinner. Reservations are recommended.
By car: from the state road along the lake (SS340dir), at the height of Gravedona ed Uniti, take the provincial road SP4 which goes up towards Dosso del Liro (800 meters above sea level).
By bicycle: always following the provincial road SP4.
