A small romantic hotel of particular charm in the village of Varenna, all rooms offer a balcony or terrace with lake views and are furnished in a style that combines tradition and modernity; also there are three dependencies (Red House – Yellow House – House 3 Arches) with independent rooms and apartments that offer different options to stay as couples or family. Our Restaurant La Vista offers light cuisine with Mediterranean aromas and a terrace that offers an incomparable panorama of Lake Como.
Arriving by car
From Milan follow the signs towards Lecco (SS36). Once in Lecco continue towards Sondrio (SS36).
Exit at Abbadia Lariana and continue on SP72 for approximately 15 Km. After Fiumelatte, before the tunnel, turn left and enter Varenna.
Two private parking spaces are available for our customers in the multi-storey carpark at the cost of € 15.00 per day. Reservation required.

Walking to the hotel
From Varenna Station to Albergo Milano:
The Hotel is approximately 10 minutes walking distance from the station. Exit from the square in front of the station and walk down the main road; after the Beretta bar head south and take Via Venini. Continue towards the center of Varenna for approximately 500 metres up to the intersection with Via XX Settembre, a small road leading to the historical centre on the right, where you will see a yellow villa on the corner. You will see a sign with directions which also mentions the Hotel. Take the downhill road and pass under the arch of the Villa. On the right, at number 35, you will find the Hotel Milano.
From the ferry:
Follow the waterfront path along the lake southwards and take the first set of steps on the left, close to the marina, leading up to Contrada alla Cortesella. The next set of steps, towards the centre, is less steep. They all lead to Via XX Settembre.
