The nearest intercontinental airports of Milano “Malpensa” and “Linate”, are at 90 Km and 114 Km from Gittana, Bergamo Orio al Serio at 111 Km. Getting to Linate airport is the fastest and easiest way to reach Gittana. We suggest you hire a car and drive toward the Lake through an excellent road (SS 36 dello Spluga). Keep on driving on the SS 36 up to the Exit “ Mandello/Varenna” which is the first exit after the town of Lecco. Or exit on the next one “Bellano” and then follow directions to Varenna.
Once in Varenna, follow the road to Perledo. Keep on this winding road untill you see the sign to Gittana. Attention Please! You will need to cut across the curve to enter the road to Gittana… so… STOP and check for cars coming from above!
